Operation Round Up is a program made possible by the generosity and compassion of Dakota Valley Electric Cooperative members. It raises funds for LOCAL worthy individuals and charitable organizations by rounding up members' monthly energy bills to the next dollar.
The rounded-up cents are placed in a fund that is overseen by a nine-member board comprised of Dakota Valley members. Members of the board meet semi-annually (May and November) to disburse the funds to worthy individuals and organizations.
Every year, the Operation Round Up fund contributes approximately $20,000 to countless people and causes facing all kinds of hardships.
If you know of an individual or organization worthy of consideration of help from Operation Round Up, please fill out an application.
