Managing Your Energy

The energy management program enables Dakota Valley Electric to control electric load during peak periods of demand. Members who sign up for off-peak programs allow Dakota Valley computers to switch off, or "control" their power, during busy, or "peak" periods of use when consumption- and cost of electricity- is high. In exchange for this ability to switch off your power, Dakota Valley gives participating members hefty discounts on off-peak rates. Members can save up to 2/3 the cost of a kilowatt hour on our off-peak programs.
